Oaty Breakfast Smoothies






I don't know about you guys but sometimes I find breakfast can be the most difficult meal of the day.  For one I'm generally always too sleepy to make a decent healthy breakfast, and secondly i'm always too sleepy to ever chew anything! 
And I know it's awful but I always choose more sleep over breakfast! A habit that definitely needs to be stopped. But this is where the Breakfast Smoothies come in handy. They're incredibly easy to make and can be done the night before and just drank on the go. I have one nearly every morning and I feel like they really set me up for the day and keep me full so I don't snack all day! Perfect! 

All you need for the base is the milk, banana and oats, the rest of the ingredients can be varied. This is how I made mine this morning;


1 pint Milk (This can be replaced with soy or rice milk - also there's generally some left over with this amount)
1 large banana
A handful of frozen summer berries
1 tsp honey
2 tbsp oats 
Blueberries (to top)

Once all the ingredients are added just blend them with a decent blender!
